Vickie's What Is Old Is New Again 50th Anniversary Cake (For Parents)

In the words of my mother "This is a real wedding cake." I was asked to make this cake for a 50th wedding anniversary. The cake was modeled after the original. What an honor it was to recreate a wonderful memory! I was given the original cake topper used in their wedding, I just love the romance and traditional style the topper brought to the cake. You won't find a pinch of fondant on this traditional cake! The cake was white, iced with butter cream, as was all decorations including the roses made with butter cream. They decided to try a filling this time around and chose pecan/butter cream combination.

Ainsley's Ivory And Blue Satin Wedding Cake

I was honored to be asked to make this cake. It was a design chosen from a wedding cake I made for another bride. The cake was personalized by piping the fillagree in David's Bridal, Blue Horizon. We also made an "M" to use as the cake topper. It is made from gumpaste it is and edible sugar paste, which dries rigid to hold it's form. The cake flavor was white, iced in buttercream and topped with vanilla fondant, tinted ivory. The fillings included, chocolate buttercream, chocolate ganache/raspberry combo and buttercream/pecan combo.

These cakes were created for a wedding in Moreauville, LA. The bride's cake is a white cake with alternating chocolate ganache and raspberry fillings, finished in vanilla flavored, rolled ivory fondant over buttercream icing, with chocolate brown hand piped filigree. The groom's cake is a replica of a Sony Playstation 3. It is a triple chocolate cake, he chose to have the fillings combined, they are chocolate ganche and raspberry, one of our best combination fillings. The cake was finished in buttercream icing and black rolled fondant.

Any poker enthusiast will get a flush when seeing their hobby brought to life in the fully edible poker table Grooms cake! It's a rich chocolate cake filled with plenty of dark chocolate ganche. All chips, and cards are handmade (except the ones along the cake board) I hand painted all cards, including the tiny ones laid out on the table. The Medallion reads "Chris is all in" Decorations are made from rolled chocolate and vanilla fondant. There is also and generous layer of chocolate buttercream, to give it that extra silky flavor. I'll bet, your husband to be will find this fullhouse to be the tastiest win to date!

Camo/Browning Grooms Cake
(For Jessica's Wedding)

This cake is for the man who is still on the hunt after you marry him! But of course, only in the venison sense. This Browning inspired cake is fully camouflaged, better not be in the woods when you try to cut into this cake! it may just blend right into the flora. The Fondant was hand tinted/twisted and then rolled out to create this realist camo effect. The cake is dark chocolate, iced with butter cream and filled with cookies and cream combo filling.
